SCRATCH RESISTANCE
This test has as its objective determining the superficial resistance of finishing parts or painting to scratching, by using a metal tip with standard diameter and varied weights.
Equipment: MULTI – FINGER SCRATCH & MAR TESTER, MODEL 710, TABER INDUSTRIES.
Standards: FLTM BO 162-01, FLTM BN 108-13, GMW14698, among others.
